Our view the other night from the London Eye. It was a spectacular night with gorgeous views. We've had such great weather (for here) since our arrival. Perhaps we brought a little bit of Texas sunshine with us?!? It's been brisk, but so far it's been clear and even a few days of sunshine. I love London so much! This city is so alive... and it's great to be here during the holidays. This is my first serious trip as a photographer and I feel so equipment laden when we go out during the day. I brought a mono-pod with feet with me, but QUICKLY realized that this piece of equipment is something better left at home... or in a studio... or somewhere that doesn't get a breeze. I didn't want to bring the heavy tripod - and while I've done okay without it... there've been a few times when it would have come in handy. Mostly now I'm just trying to set the camera on something stable, or brace myself when taking the photo. I know this is probably a very 'tourist' photo - but I still love it! More to come...
